It was a long strange road we walked down with death note. As it's final episode has aired and and subbed lets look back at one of the most interesting and twisting if not twisted anime series this year. It had more plot twists and surprises then a M. knight movie. The characters are a hoot and very interesting. As the movie starts out with a high school student finding a note book that if he writes in a name the person who's name is written will die in 40 seconds. Suddenly with the power of god this kid decides he is going to become the justice of the world punishing all criminals with death. As the police starts to realize something strange is happening the whole world takes notice and "L" joins the hunt. "L" is a creepy genius who works for the US government to try to track down and find Kira, who appointed himeself the new judge jury executioner of the world. As they go toe to toe you learn just how crazy these people really are. But who can't but help rooting for kira to win when he is so evil its almost heroic.
anyways it has been a fun long road but as its fades into the sunset I look forward to the DVDs as this is definitely one for the collection.
