Hitohira is a fun new show that is very girly. But hey its fun to watch. The story is about a shy timid girl who unexpectedly joins a drama research club. She thought maybe she could work behind the scenes but she comes to find out that the research club is not the same thing as the drama club and that with only a few members she will have to play parts in the plays as well. At this news she has a panic attack and passes out. But her friend encourages her saying it might be good for her. The club is also excited because when she is not being shy and timid this girl can belt out loudly. Enough so to make them go after her as her stage presence would be outstanding. If only they can get her past her shyness.
The series plays out with her ending up in various embarrassing situations and learning to use her presence. All the while a war is being waged between the two clubs the drama club and the drama research club as the school only wants one club. With lots of rivalry and some great fun characters that you can't help but fall in love with. I watch this and I am not ashamed. (though maybe I should be.)
