Toward the Terra Revisit and New Daily Anime Releases

Toward the Terra, is a very interesting show. With a lot of depth and drama. The characters are very well delivered with lots of emotion and thought. The premise behind the story is a group of humans are living in a new world where humans are controlled and created by machines called Mothers. They are grown in labs and then assigned parents who raise them until adulthood at which time they under go a "adult exam" where they are stripped of all their childhood memories and assigned positions and jobs befitting their status. Among these children there have appeared anomalies where certain children exhibit psychic abilities. These people are usually disposed of. However a group of these people managed to escape and start their own resistance rescuing these children before they can be disposed.

Our story starts out around Jomy a regular boy about to go off to his "adult exam" however he has been seeing strange people in his dreams called the "mu." The officials who monitor everyone all the time have caught wind of this and attempt to ascertain if he is one of these abnormalities. But he passes their check and is approved for the exam. However as he enters the exam and the machines try to remove is memories he is rescued by the leader of the Mu.

However Jomy doesn't want to be rescued he just wants to stay with his family. His psychic powers are so strong that the Mu people can hear his every thought and feeling even if they try not to. So they decide to let him go home if that is what he wants. However when he gets there he find out his whole life was a fake and he is captured. And that is when Jomy awakens his true powers.

This series has a lot of drama and heart-ache but it also has some great moments of action and fantasy. I enjoy this series for its mature take on the story and wonderful character development. You really feel for these guys good and bad. You can get caught up in the drama and action. If you enjoy this experience by all means check this series out.
